2022 Gift Guide - Spouse, Kid, and Grandparent Christmas Gift Ideas

 Table of Contents

In our house the Christmas tree doesn't come out until Thanksgiving, but the Christmas shopping is always done before then! Going from a poor college family to living in a small house, our purchase list has stayed pretty limited per person, but finding fun (and useful) presents is one of my favorite past times! So instead of keeping ideas to myself, maybe these gift ideas will inspire you!

Husband/Dad Gift Ideas

Husband Christmas Gift - Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game

Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game

We're a big fan of "Avatar: The Last Airbender" so I grabbed this immediately after seeing it on Kickstarter. It's been a long production wait, but it's supposed to arrive for this holiday season! This is a tabletop game, where you get to play as your favorite characters from the show, and create your own adventure!

Pineapple Corer

We love fresh pineapple in this house, but it's a beast to cut open! And canned pineapple is an expensive habit to keep up! So we're ready to try this out!

Husband Gift - Pineapple Corer
Husband Gift - Drill Bits

Drill Bit Set

Over the last 10 years, we've lost and destroyed our last set of drill bits. Brandon always mentions the need for a new set every time we have another house project, so Santa will be bringing them this year!

Wife/Mom Gift Ideas

Bubble Machine

The kids have DESTROYED our past bubble machines, but I want bubble happiness too! So I bought myself a fancy bubble machine for Christmas this year. It has a plug or is battery-powered, and looks nice!

Shut The Box Dice Board Game

I'm always looking for quick, fun, easy games that Brandon and I can play on "date nights"! After the kids go to bed, sometimes there's not much brainpower left! This one is dice throwing, and you're trying to hit each of the numbers 1-10.

Wife Gift - Shut The Box Game
Wife Gift - Greeting Cards

Blank Greeting Cards

I love sending notes, but my stock has been running low! These are blank cards, so you can use them for any occasion, and they come in fabulous patterns! And envelopes included.

Grandpa/Dad Gift Ideas

"Battles, Map by Map Book"

My father-in-law loves history, and loves to read! One of my memories with him was visiting Gettysburg, when the family was visiting Washington D.C. for a wedding, and no one else wanted to go! This book is from the Smithsonian Institution and tells about different famous battles throughout history.

Toothbrush and Travel Case

My dad is an AVID Crimson Tide Alabama fan. So, pretty much anything with their team logo is a great match! I also like getting gag-type gifts for my family too, and I thought this toothbrush was hilarious!

Grandma/Mom Gift Ideas

Grandma Gift - Lego Flowers

Flower Bouquet Building Kit

My mother-in-law loves puzzles, and it's always fun to give flowers! There are official Lego brand flower bouquets too!

Minion Stuffies

The kiddos found stuffed Minions at the store a few weeks back and wouldn't let us leave without them! I'm not sure if my Mom even likes Minions, but we get her Minion-themed gifts every holiday.

Daughter/Toddler Girl Gift Ideas

"Don't Push the Button!"

Gwen absolutely loves other interactive books (like "Press Here" and "High Five"), so this will be another great addition.

Save Penguin on Ice Game

We call Gwen our "Pen-Gwen", so I'm excited to have a new game to play. The older two kids will love playing with her!

Outdoor Chalk Kit

Another outdoor activity, and oh so cute! This kit comes with different holders and templates too.

Son/Young Boy Gift Ideas

"LEGO Minifigure: A Visual History"

Aedan's a big fan of Lego, and while he enjoys reading, he's much more into visuals. This book is less text and a lot more pictures. Last year he got the "Super Mario Encyclopedia: The Official Guide" and still reads it regularly.

Archery Toy Set

My oldest two joined an archery club at school, so we got a version to play with at home. This one is a little more "toy", but it will allow for them to play with their younger sister.

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit - Luigi

Last year we got the Mario version, and it's fun to create your own racetrack at home! But only having one car made it limited on how many people could be involved. Now we'll be able to play together and have real races!

Magic Snake Fidget Cube

Aedan earned one of these at school, but little sister got to it. I'm most excited to see him open this gift!

Daughter/Preteen Girl Gift Ideas

"The Book of Mythical Beasts and Magical Creatures"

The morning of Christmas Eve, each kid gets a new book that they can read throughout the day. Faye loves magic and animals, so this is a perfect match.

Badminton Set

Living in Florida, we've got good weather throughout the year. So we like getting additional outdoor activities to keep us all occupied.

Harry Potter, Marauder's Map Mug

Faye's obsessed with Harry Potter, and this mug reveals the Marauder's Map when it gets warm.

Clip-on Reading Light

The gooseneck reading lights broke, so I'm excited to try these more solid book lights.

Pre-Teen Gift - Pens

Journal Design Pens

These pens have fancy design rollers on the back of them! So along with writing, you can be creative! My kids choose crafting over toys, so these will be used constantly.
