In our house the Christmas tree doesn't come out until Thanksgiving, but the Christmas shopping is always done before then! Going from a poor college family to living in a small house, our purchase list has stayed pretty limited per person, but finding fun (and useful) presents is one of my favorite past times! So instead of keeping ideas to myself, maybe these gift ideas will inspire you!

Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game
We're a big fan of "Avatar: The Last Airbender" so I grabbed this immediately after seeing it on Kickstarter. It's been a long production wait, but it's supposed to arrive for this holiday season! This is a tabletop game, where you get to play as your favorite characters from the show, and create your own adventure!
Pineapple Corer
We love fresh pineapple in this house, but it's a beast to cut open! And canned pineapple is an expensive habit to keep up! So we're ready to try this out!
Drill Bit Set
Over the last 10 years, we've lost and destroyed our last set of drill bits. Brandon always mentions the need for a new set every time we have another house project, so Santa will be bringing them this year!

I'm always looking for quick, fun, easy games that Brandon and I can play on "date nights"! After the kids go to bed, sometimes there's not much brainpower left! This one is dice throwing, and you're trying to hit each of the numbers 1-10.

I love sending notes, but my stock has been running low! These are blank cards, so you can use them for any occasion, and they come in fabulous patterns! And envelopes included.

My father-in-law loves history, and loves to read! One of my memories with him was visiting Gettysburg, when the family was visiting Washington D.C. for a wedding, and no one else wanted to go! This book is from the Smithsonian Institution and tells about different famous battles throughout history.
Toothbrush and Travel Case
My dad is an AVID Crimson Tide Alabama fan. So, pretty much anything with their team logo is a great match! I also like getting gag-type gifts for my family too, and I thought this toothbrush was hilarious!

The kiddos found stuffed Minions at the store a few weeks back and wouldn't let us leave without them! I'm not sure if my Mom even likes Minions, but we get her Minion-themed gifts every holiday.

"LEGO Minifigure: A Visual History"
Aedan's a big fan of Lego, and while he enjoys reading, he's much more into visuals. This book is less text and a lot more pictures. Last year he got the "Super Mario Encyclopedia: The Official Guide" and still reads it regularly.
Archery Toy Set
My oldest two joined an archery club at school, so we got a version to play with at home. This one is a little more "toy", but it will allow for them to play with their younger sister.
Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit - Luigi
Last year we got the Mario version, and it's fun to create your own racetrack at home! But only having one car made it limited on how many people could be involved. Now we'll be able to play together and have real races!
