The Winners - Past and Active Gifts!
Here are some of the "winner" gift ideas we've given over the years. Some of these are still "active" gifts that haven't been given, so it'll be interesting to see what family members read my post and spoil their upcoming gifts!
Vintage Books
Original Source: Etsy, BeechHomeCo
I appreciate vintage books, so that's a gift I gravitate to! Search for a hobby that your sibling has, their profession, their favorite movie... something about them! This specific business encyclopedia was for my sister because she was graduating with a degree in business! I've found books about Landscape Architecture for my husband and his boss, radio for my father-in-law, Boy Scouts for my father, etc.

Magnets and Stickers
Original Source: Etsy, KeepItFancy
My brothers love the dumb "Made You Look," punching game, so we sent this sticker to my brother when he was out of the country. This specific version is no longer available, but here are similar options.
Other Sticker Options: SalmonJohnApparel
Funny Business Cards
Original Source: Etsy, KeepItFancy
We gifted these cards to my brother who has a very direct way with people. It came in a small set, so he could have a few extras to hand out.
Childhood Movies
Original Source: Amazon
Bring back some reminiscing with a movie from when you were little! Now that we have kids of our own, it's a totally different experience!
Or pick a movie your sibling hates, and gift it to their children. We did that with my brother-in-law, and The Last Unicorn. His daughters watched it over, and over, and over, and over. He loves us.
Original Source: Amazon, Ian Doescher
Take something classic, but make it funny! My husband loved this twist, and it reminded me a lot of the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies book. Everyone loves a little humor. This would be great for a white elephant gift exchange too!
Christmas-Specific Gifts
Personalized Christmas Ornament
Original Source: Etsy, MoonSnailCreations1
My brother and his wife lost a child right before Christmas, so I wanted to get them something they could remember Miles by. I loved how simple but impactful this star is!
Original Source: Etsy, TempleFlakes (but now they have their own website)
In our church, we get married in local temples, and each location has it's own look! The snowflake look using the building spire makes these super unique! They are also relatively inexpensive, so get multiple styles!
We got married in the Las Vegas temple, and have siblings that got married in Salt Lake City, Cardston, Seattle, and Washington DC!
