Nothing worse than having to scroll through someone’s life story to get to a recipe. So, here’s the recipe, and then I’ll story about it if you’re looking for back details!

Ingredients:
- (1) can blueberry pie filling
- (1) can crushed pineapples
- (1) box yellow cake mix
- (1) stick of butter
Directions:
- Set oven to 350°F
- Mix together blueberries and pineapple (including all juice) in a 9”x 13” glass dish
- Sprinkle cake mix powder over the top of the mixture
- Melt butter, and pour over cake mix powder
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is lightly brown and the filling is bubbling on the sides
- Enjoy three servings right out of the oven, as you finish off your kids’ plates because they refused to try it, even though you made it as your own birthday cake
- Reheat leftovers for breakfast and finish the cobbler in no time!
Okay, so the end of the directions went into the story, but it’s all true. We celebrated my 32nd birthday and I had craved this cobbler for weeks. It’s so quick to make, and I was so excited to share it with my kiddos because it’s my favorite! We sat down to eat it, Faye wouldn’t touch it, Aedan took one bite and refused to eat more even though he loves pineapple and blueberries, and Gwen only took two bites. So I finished off all three plates, and Brandon had a few plates too! And the leftovers lasted at least one more day.
