I found this news article online yesterday, and thought it was hilarious! The simple story is that the Nevada DMV recalled this vanity license plate after someone complained about the meaning. GOBK2CA, meaning "Go Back to California." I guess there's a rule that people can complain about your vanity license plate to the DMV, and they can take back the plate. No rude or inappropriate sayings allowed!
Since you can't have your vanity license plate with GOBK2CA, someone in the comments of the article suggested they needed a sticker. So I designed one up this morning! Available on my Etsy store!
The idea comes from lots of California residents are leaving the state, and some Nevada residents are upset about the extra people around. More people means more expensive housing, fewer jobs, etc. Lots of political and economic implications. Born and raised in Nevada, I get it!
